TEACHING EXPERIENCE Ellie Beckham, founder, and owner of Brilliant Arrows started as an aid for a college child care center working primarily with two-year-olds. This was the beginning of learning how to create an atmosphere for learning and developing lessons. Blessed with three boys it was decided to homeschool the children. Most of the products and resources were created out of a need or lack of good, affordable, Christian education materials needed for homeschoolers. MY TEACHING STYLE What makes Brilliant Arrows curriculums unique is our focus on teaching children how to learn based on their dominant learning style; visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. Our materials are a hybrid of spiral, classical, and student-centered. We believe in active learning, exposing children to a wide variety of topics in their younger years and then letting them focus on topics of interest in their older years. MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY Ellie Beckham has a Batchelor of Christian Education, from Andersonville Theological Seminary and has been homeschooling since 2015.
